If you have ever been on Main Street in Nashua, you've probably seen the Villa Banca Restaurant (formerly Cafe Pavone). From the outside, this establishment may seem like your typical Italian eatery, but walk inside, and we assure you, the expert craftsmanship and interesting environment will astound you.
If you are a Nashua native, you may know that not long ago this establishment was Nashua Bank and Trust. In addition to totally renovating the establishment, the P.M. MacKay Group added some twists and turns which leaves customers talking, long after they dine.
To efficiently utilize space, the vault was converted into a walk-in cooler. The vault door, weighing 1-ton, was dismantled and moved into the dining area as a display piece. Keeping with the light reminders that hint that this beautiful restaurant was once a bank, the original steel gate, and even a safe deposit sign were left in the cocktail lounge. Words alone cannot really describe this project, so come in for yourself, look around and enjoy!!
